westowne is such a good place to get service done, Its a very family like environment
I brought the mazda3 to find out why my clutch causes vibration when I push it and release it.
I took it to westowne, and quickly they asked If I was Ryan!! I was shocked, They address me as if I was somebody they knew along time ago.
Before the test drive of my 3 I asked them if they were busy to include me for an oil change service. With no buts he put me in and said he would give me an additional 10% for being in the club...(He noticed the club plate stickers)
When the mechanic came he test drove the 3. Prior to that, it was a shame I couldn\'t feel the vibration of the clutch driving to westowne. So I had to explain that it occurs during really cold weather.
Since the weather pretty much was great today we couldn\'t duplicate the problem, he tried by downshifting, high revs, low revs, from a stop....Nothing
He said not a problem I will just note that, so the next time you come in I will be ready to diagnose the problem. I said great!! He then brought my car to the garage and proceeded with my oil change (4K service)
I wanted to ask a couple of questions to one employee their. Little did I know I was speaking with Domenic who owns westowne
He asked me if it was my first time at westowne and I said yes, It was the great feedback we receive from are car club that made me switch.
He asked me where I had my car purchased
Erin Mills Mazda :(
He tried to back them up but I wasn\'t buying it.
He asked why i did not continue to service the 3 to erin mills and I said mainly....Service and not as friendly environment....And then he told me about those doors I see.
He says that you are like family now so we dont hide anything from you..It was the door to the garage.
10 lifts, balancing area, and emissions
he took me around showed me what happens, basically giving me the tour of the place
He then brought me to these stairs (downstairs) and brought me to these big doors
BOOM!!!!
MAZDA RX8\'s, 3\'s 6\'s It was a garage full of the cars
I didnt know they had a basement full of cars!!!! He then showed me the parts and accessories (they are the main suppliers of parts) And man so tempting, GT Skirts, Hoods, bumpers RX8 Rims!!! drooll!!!
After that he took me back to the showroom and I waited for another 30 minutes my car was done!!
I totally recommend Westowne for great professional, friendly staff and service.
In a way I didnt feel like I wanted to leave.
:D

I just picked up my new Sport GT tonight from Westowne ... Domenic (the owner) himself sold it to me. Despite the fact this is my 4th car, this is the 1st new car I've purchased, and I was a little apprehensive about the whole process. But Dominic was terrific; enthusiastic, friendly, and open. I think he loves what he does, and I think he really likes dealing with people. Quite a contrast from the slime ball at the Honda dealership I'd been talking to previously.
It's quite a trek from where I live, but I'm hoping I can get my servicing done there ... I really liked what I saw.

Very friendly service.
I was there a few times when I used to be working in the area. By the way, I didn't purchase my car from them.
I brought in my car to complain about my brake squeaking. They had the machanic took the car out for a spin with me, but couldn't duplicate the problem. But think about they had the machinic out with me for the whole half hour without charging me a cent for their service. I have tried to bring my car to a different dealership to have them inspect my brake, they quoted me at least half an hour of labour cost for them to have a peek at my car.
One of their staff was my client at the time and she was able to call me by my name when I was wandering in the showroom waiting for my car to be inspected.
Thumbs up to Westowne. I now work at a different part of the city and it is too far for me to travel to Westowne. But I would still recommand.:gone

Do you think they are mod. friendly? Because the one I went to, I asked them about putting a CAI into my car, they didn't even wait until I finished my question, they told me my warranty would be voided immediately. So I am very hesitant in hooking up my CAI which I have it sitting under my bed now.

i had a problem where my MAF was toast, and i had an intake in the car, they fixed it under warranty for me!
they didn mention that i had an aftermarket CAI when i was picking up the car, i am not sure if it meant . . . dont come back with the same problem, or if it meant don't go anywhere else, we will help u out.
i think if ur looking for a mod friendly dealership . . . Dave Wood is the one u will want . . at least thats whay i hear, i have never been!

Just like my sister's bf, he got into an accident and had his headlight fixed at some crappy shop. It became foggy and the first time I believed it was erin mills who got it fixed under warranty, but 2nd time they refused saying this car had been in accident and the headlight isn't installed by mazda therefore refuse to honour the warrenty.
So lesson was they will do it once for you, but don't you dare to go back for a second time with the same problem. I figured it is because they would claim the labour and parts costs from M.A.P. (mazda's warranty program). But if they claim it so often, M.A.P. would raise suspicion and therefore they start to look into possibility of the car being modified or aftermarket parts were installed....etc.

the dealer sent it out for repair, and it wasn't done well, then they refused to fix it, ouch!
that hurts,

Sounds sweet none the less...juss got back today
but will have another review of another dealership
service is great and yes my pearl white hatch was bought at westowne
parts department, most you already know...can lick my left nut and kiss my ass!!!!
Did I mention for today service at Westowne Mazda, I mentioned about a promotional offer, and service with no question gave me the free "Head" Sports bag....

gave me the free "Head" .
HAHAHAHAH!!! Sorry bro... I couldn't resist....
It had to be said...
I found westowne to be the worst during my attempt to buy a car...I went to Gyro and the experience was 100x better. Although Michel at Westowne was a decent guy too bad another rep ruined the dealership name IMO.

Update on the Intake Manifold...
They were able to replace the intake manifold (same guy Vito) and the car runs even better!!! I noticed the intake sounds even louder than the engine... There must have been something causing the car to sound as if I had an aftermarket exhaust, but its quiet again.... Fuel mileage, looks to be lowering slower than before but again, I havent filled up the tank yet.... So no true results as of yet.
Someone from Servicing did such a great favour for me... She was able to get me the extended Warranty for my Car... My warranty was due last may and she was able to get the higher guys to overlook it.
Imagine if they told me im over warranty... 1G easy to replace that intake manifold, plus 90$ per hour labour.
Thanks again Westowne... 3more years of warranty wohoo!!!

Nice, it takes some work. but it can be done as an exception...
as for the rest of you... take note.. Warranty is not a waste of money!

This was the first dealership that I went to, though I didnt end up buying my car from them, I know exactly what you are saying about the family environment! The gentleman who was showing us the mazdaspeed took us downstairs as well and showed us all their vehicles. We were very impressed! Great dealership, Can't say that for Mazda of Ontario ...anymore! Though the serivce department was really good!

Lucky you, Ryan, an extended warranty is better than Christmas!
Way to go.

Hi, here is Michel Pantos from Westowne Mazda. I think I have a right to reply to the post Nš 14. Thank you for considering me a decent guy, but I am more than that. I am the best sales person you can find in town because I am honest. I would never lie or cheat a customer. Now, knowing that, you could have come and asked for me and you would have had a sensational service. However the money is yours, you are free to do what you want with it, but Michel is more than a decent guy.

+1+1 for Westowne. Heath and Mary always take care of me, always book appt's for me as soon as possible. I appreciate the fact that they remember my name, forget everything else. Most places don't even look you in the eyes.
If you want a good tech, ask for Vito. He services my car and does a great job.

Want to throw another props to Westowne Mazda Service.
I had a CEL a few times over the last few months it happened again yesterday as i was heading to school
and this time something felt wrong!
i had to stay at school that day, and didn't get to the dealership until the service was pretty much closed. The other times i had the CEL they were always gone by the next day so no point to go to the dealership. so i really wanted to have the code read at least on that evening.
They had a tech stay late and read the code and fix the problem (a wire came out of the MAF)
however when they test drove it after the CEL came back on so they had to keep it until this morning, turns out that another wire came out as well.
Either way they stayed late and went the extra mile for me!
thanks Westowne!
Mary and Heath are both Awesome

You just sold me!
