Hi, I was just wondering do any of you guys know how to tighten the handbrake cable? When the car was new, pulling up the handbrake one or two clicks would hold the car still on my driveway, but now it takes a few more clicks than that to hold it. The handbrake cable seemed to have loosened during the winter, (don\'t ask why), and if tightening the cable is an easy DIY job then I would like to do it every so often. Thanks.

I think the manual says it should be 5-6 \"clicks\" until firm. I dont have the steps to tighten on me.

take out your center console, as if you were trying to get at the shift boot...there is a nut that you adjust for adjustment for the hand brake..
