Just put on my 18\" Mazda RX8 rims this weekend with the help of MajesticBlueNTO.
-18\" x 8\" 50mm offset
-Stock suspension (I don\'t plan or want to lower/slam/drop it)
-225/40/18 Kumho Ecsta ASX (KU21) High Performance All Season tires
-Tire & Rim Weight is 46lbs.

I love those rims. I was thinking about picking up a set and getting them powder coated in gunmetal. Do you notice any performance loss with the extra weight and larger rims?

out of curiosity.... what is our current tire/rim weight? The 18\" I\'m going to assume is about the same or heavier (I donno if it\'s a different alloy).

Stock 17\" weight:
Rim ~ 21lb
Tire (badyear) ~22lb

Front looks a bit high.
Otherwise looks pretty good.

stock tire: 22lbs
stock wheel: 22lbs

Looks great.,,b-b-b-b-ut; sizing up in rims should = lowering the chasis even with a mild drop.:(
I\'m I the only one into that European Audi-ish, BMWish fill out the wheel well look.

Kitten, sorry I forgot to list the complete details of the RX8 rims. They are 18\" x 8\" with a 50mm offset.

I can\'t say that I like it any more than stock, but then again, I\'m not a huge fan of the OEM wheels anyways. Oh well, as long as you like it, that\'s all that mater. :D
