MazdaTrees Blue Calipers

[MazdaTree]

Tuesday was a nice hot day to do my calipers and so i did:)
i changed my mind from black to blue (since i found a blue kit).

got a chance to clean the rims up too:)

What did you use to get the \"mazda\" logo on there? I hope it\'s high heat or it\'s gonna melt onto it...

I\'m pretty sure that part of the caliper won\'t get hot enough to melt anything.

photocopy/laser printer paper and gift wrapping tape...bonus is that it\'s high temp paper and tape :sarc

wow.. where did you get that!??!? :sarc do you have a stencil? i could try it at home then.. but i heard his caught on fire and he needed to apply new ones.. :sarc

MazdaTree, that looks awesome, I think you helped me make my decision to paint mine too because of all the surface rust. I just don\'t know what colour would look good on a Sunlight Silver. I like the Mazda symbol as well.:D

and yes one of the reasons i did it was to get rid of the rust on the calipers it looked ugly and cheap imo. the rust may not have been noticable too much but i noticed them and the rust buggggged me:D

Just a word of advice to those who are planning to paint or have painted the calipers...

when you get your brakes changed, don\'t be surprised if you see the paint all chipped up. I got my rear pads replaced, and my back calipers are showing quite a bit of metal spots now. I\'ll have to repaint them.

where can i purchase that kind of paint that will do that... man i dun even know what color to get them .. i\'m thinkin black... i got a sunlight silver 3 u think black with white mazda logo woud look good?

walmart, they are brake caliper paint kit, 18bucks i think, color-red,yellow,blue
