Just a question about the gas Gauge. I filled up my tank when the needle was almost at the E. Maybe a notch or 2 away. The low fuel light was not on. When I filled the tank the most I could get in was 40liters. I tried to get more in but the pump kept clicking off. So I still had about 15 liters left in the tank. So my question is, is the gauge accurate? Do all of you find the same? I don\'t have the manual with me at the moment but how much gas is in the tank when the low fuel light comes on?

yes it is accurate as it is designed to so that you *don\'t* run out of gas when driving near Empty.

when the gas light goes on, you have anywhere from 10-15L left in the tank (55L tank) which is anywhere from 100-180kms, depending on how you drive.

p.s. Please do not force fuel into your tank after it has clicked off the first or second time, doing so can cause alot of Evap concerns and CEL concerns. Just a word to the wise.

I do recall taking a drive in a demo car in Ajax and the tank was on E. Me n my buddy must\'ve driven it for about a half an hour at least rippin it on the streets... Shhhhhhhhhhh :P..... and I was so nervous that the car was gonna run outta gas... but the sales rep said that the tank has about 15L left when it\'s on E to ensure that you get somewhere safe to fill up

that\'s good to know! i was on the other side of the E for the first time this past weekend. i actually passed a gas station cuz it wasn\'t an Esso but eventually gave in cuz i didn\'t want to be one of those drivers who are left stranded on the road. to date, it\'s never happened. i hope i didn\'t just jinx myself!
