Just waiting for my new baby to be delivered....

Bought it at Mazda of Toronto....Yonge and Steeles

We went in for a test drive to see how they were and ended up buying.

Monica was the salesperson and she was great.

We went in April 20th and I am hoping to have it by Wednesday....

Though the only thing bugging me was the extended warranty i had purchased.
They quoted the one to me of 72/120k KM for 1299.00. But when i went to the www.mazda.ca website it was listed for 1199 and for 1299 it should be 72/160k km

I left two phone messsages regarding it but never got an answer...sort of annoyed at that but I will just wait i suppose until i actually go in to pick it up to discuss it.

Hmm, what started as a brief msg got longer than expected :)

Great Site, happy i found it this evening.

Take Care!

Derek

It is the 2005 GS M3 Sedan, Black, Power Package, Sport pacakge, Auto, AC
Before taxes and frieght and extra stuff( extended warranty, paint prot and rust proofing) the price was $21590
Not quite sure if that is good or not but to late now I suppose.
as of today (May 3) still waiting for it to arrive from Vancouver which is supposedly left 11days ago)

The wife \'made\' me take black. It was less painful for me this way :)

I suppose I will need to be investing in some quality car cleaning gear to keep it shiny since black will show everything....oh well.

This is what we ordered :

05 Mazda 3 GS Sedan (2.0l, auto, AC, power pkg, sport pkg)
$21, 560
925 Freight/delivery expense
100 ac tax
75 fuel tax
- 2525.38 (\'95 Cavalier 88K km trade in)
-------------
$20 134.62
3 020.19 (PST+GST)
75.50 liscense fee (new plates)
65.00 registration fee
=========
$23,295.31

so without the trade in the price would have been :

$26 199.50 OTR but i suppose the discount was from them giving me a fair $$ sum on the 1995 Cavalier so i guess the 26k number has to be taken with a grain of salt

I just going through the painful anxiety of waiting for the car.

Thanks

Sounds like a fair deal to me, though I\'m not an expert on sedan pricing so hopefully somebody else can chime in:D

CHEER!!

Just picked it up tonight....the long wait is over. Ok, it was only 3 weeks but seemed like forever. :)

Monica the saleswoman walked us through the final paperwork before handing us the keys to zoom off :) She was great!!! Very nice and great to deal with.

Extremely happy to have it!! My wife did call them a few times so I just hope they don\'t hate us now and have us flagged as bad clients :(

I was just wondering, is it possible to replace the red back guard on the GS rear and put in a clear cover? I noticed on the GT\'s its clear and the three lights (white, amber and red) are nicely visibile. I was just wondering if I could add that to the GS or are the lights under the red face plate on the GS not amber and red and would need to be replaced to? Not even sure if it is possible or how much it would cost?

You\'d probably have to replace the entire light unit which is like $500. I doubt you can take off the plastic light cover. Congrats on your new car!

Sorry to tell you, the lights are red and to get the clear ones is an accessory and not cheap. But to look for the after market light might be less expensive.

As for the Warranty: the NC6120 is $1199 \"6 year / 120000km\"
the NC6160 is $1299 \"6 year / 160000km\"

If you were over charged call Mazda\'s M.A.P. Dept 1-800-265-5118

Enjoy your car!!!

Congrats on the new car! The GT GFX black housing lamp set will cost you $398.58 plus tax for the parts only and $65.00 for the labour. Let me know if you\'re interested.
