Will there be a market for this..., premium luxury subcompact hatch? I didn\'t see any interior and a full list of amenities but the engineering must be packed in there. For the price though, can we get other cars of this calibre for much less or the same? Performance, amenities, ease of servicing in the long run. Or is this for the ultra Yuppies.

This car is gorgeous. They are all over the place in europe, and if my memory serves me correctly i believe they come in a 3 door as well, but we wont be getting that. Will i be able to buy on my \'just out of college\' salary? unlikely :(. Audi is attempting to position themselves in the higher end market along side bmw and Mercedes, however $32,000 base isnt THAT bad! I am a HUGE fan of the new grill though :D

Yes! Indeed, I love Audi\'s new grill theme in their line-up. Europe loves its hatches and I wish some of the Peugot\'s, Renaults, Fiat styling of them would hit our shores.:( The positioning of Audi\'s line-up is on par with BMW, Benz\'s and dammit I need drug money rev to get in one.

The A3 and the BMW 3 series hatch (the ti\'s) always appealed to me. Audi is finally bringing the A3 over...

Maybe BMW will bring the 325 ti\'s over now.

The BMW 1 series has been out for a while now in Europe, my cousin back in England has one. Take a look at this pic, any guesses who BMW copied? ;)

k the a3 is just not worth the premium price tag...go for the new golf 2.0t, thats a good package

They are different body lines, but not that MUCH different. The BMW is a very close copy.
