Hey all with all the different factors that can affect a picture it is hard for prospective HID buyers to gauge the color and light outputs of the different kits that are out there. I was wondering if any of you HID owners would be interested in some kinda side by side photo shoot of the different kits…I too would be interested to see how my EUROLITES compare to the Xtecs, ProLumen and Philips…..and maybe our resident TM3 photo master, AUTOEXE wouldn’t mind coming out to take the shots cuz my pictures are nasty compared to what he does…..anywayz just a thought…lemme know if you all are interested….

I\'m in, but it would be dependent on date and time.

cool so we have the philips 5000k, xtec 5000k and eurolite kit represented any one with the prolumen kit that would like to join?

anytime after work (7ish) would be good for me but i guess we\'d have to go when its darker...do you guys have a preference on when and where would be good for you?

maybe we should also wait till its warmer....you\'d think that since its May we\'d have temperatures in the positives :p

but just let me know....and hopefully we can get a date set up...

ProLumen 5000K :)

BUUUUUUUUUUT.. the exposures and lighting and all would havbe to be top notch.. too much of exposure and they\'ll all look the same. i\'m usually agains taking pix of lights as each camera will represent them differently. my ProLumen pix look fairly blue in pictures but they actually have a tinge or lavender.. all about the wite balance and shutter speed/exposure.

It\'s very hard to get accurate pictures of headlights, especially HIDs. They tend to be too bright and overexpose pictures.

awesome...2 xtecs 1 philps 1 eurolite and 1 hybrid ProXtecLumen now do you guys know anyone that can take the shot!?

Majic...lol yea i agree... everytime i take pictures of my HID\'s they look blue but in reality they are pretty white....thats why i took my name outta the hat for being the one to take the pictures cuz there is no way my lame skills could get the job done right:D....i was hoping that someone like AUTOEXE would come along and take the shots....but like you said everything would have to be perfect....i was thinking that if we put our cars side by side that maybe we could see some what of a difference at least enough for people to make some sorta decision as to which kit they would like....but again nothing beats seeing it in person(that is what our meets are for)...so what do u guys think? is it worth it do this?

in regards to majic\'s comment about exposures:

This is very true. I personally am going just to see the different colours of the kits... with my own eyes :)

... afterall, anyone who sees my lights won\'t be through a camera, but with their own eyes.

P.S. My attendence is also somewhat location dependent. Gas is getting pricy, and my budget just got smaller :(.
