I was entering the Timmy\'s off highway 7 in woodbridge near the auto mall and i feel a drop and a scraaaaaaaaaaaaaaaape then i notice there was a pothole the size of LAKE ONTARIO that i drove over i didnt notice it cuz it was dark. Anywho the scraping i heard was from a hill of gravel in the middle that prolly needs to be flattened down to close the pothole but anyways I got outa my car and notice all the scratches all the gravel did in the middle of my bumper. its only on the bottom piece under my grill but still its ugly. A girl came up to me and said how the same thing happened to her but she cracked her bumper and she called the owner of the property and all he wanted to do is fight and all this crap. therefore im gonna look at it 2mw in daylight and see what i can do... the scratches arent too deep... you cant see any black from can it be buffed out? or should i use that meguires scratch stuff? is it the owner of the properties fault?

both entrances to that place are f*cked up...however the one that is right on the main street is safer...i think the property manager is supposed to answer to this, however it would probably cost u money to get money from him and probably not worth it, i kno it sucks but try to get it fixed the best u can :(

Ouch...that sucks.

I wonder what it\'d do to my car...it\'s got exactly the amount of clearance of the height of a can of pop...

My car suffered in a worst situation. Two days after i lowered my car, my mom drove my car to tai chi lessons. She came home and told me that she hit the curb while she was parking front in!!!!...my whole bottom part of the bumper is scraped really deep. I tried using the scrap remover stuff but it didn\'t work at all. I end up buying the touch up paint but the scraps was just too deep. There are alot of marks and its visable when i look up close.

That is LOW! I don\'t even want to think of what would happen. Would those abnormally raised manhole covers be a major problems for you?

Good lesson for all of you, some curbs are raised higher than normal, including curbs or the blocks in parking spots. Get to know your car, how much space you got in front and behind. Try to use the side mirror and the pillar that is right behind your left side to judge and \"measure\" the space you have when parking (front in and back in).

I scraped the black plastic piece under my front bumper on my first 3 and learnt the lesson immediately to know how much room my car has.

i just look at the scratches again and its more like cracks in the paint than scratches

its all like horizontal lines from the bottom of the grill to the bottom of the bumper

ill jus leave it doesnt stand out at all jus when your close

I just try to dodge them. So far (i.e. since last Juky), no problems. Touch wood.

I scratched the bottom of my bumper the 1st week I had the car :p ! It\'s not noticable, but it bugs me that it\'s there. Don\'t know what will happen when I lower it.:)

at least it isn\'t an aftermarket body kit on there. that would be even more heartbreaking. :(

Seriously with WTOM\'s directions on how to drive through a speed bump, how will your car ever pass it LOL!!!!!

My guess is to not go thru places with speedbumps LOL!!!:p

trick to being lowered and (in my case, have a front lip extension) and only 3.5\" clearance on the front is to take speedbumps/inclined entrances at a 45 degree angle and let one wheel creep at a time... BUT remember to slow down ..

even city driving, once you approach a bump/dip in the road (contruction sites) just slow down and watch the traffic behind you pile up as you open the driver\'s side door to peek out and make sure nothing scrapes... *pay no attention* to the cars honking and beeping their horns, cause you know deep down inside how vain u truly are .. lol

PS: eastside roads are worse than westside streets
