they had a bunch of other simoniz products (car wash liquid, liquid wax.. etc) .. i know it may not be up everyone\'s alley but it was pretty cheap so i figured i\'d give it a shot :)

** UPDATE **

$2.99 for Product# 39-2929-0 (http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortments/product_detail.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=140847439 6670116&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474396670271&bm UID=1115584315743&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524442668 387&assortment=primary&fromSearch=true) (reg $7.99)

- smell nice and clean off the dust w/o leaving crap behind BUT you have to be careful so that you do not leave residue by pressing too firmly and \'squeezing\' some of the cleaner out (even though you don\'t) b/c if you don\'t buff right away it leaves a bit of a grease stain :(

would i buy again? for 2.99, i guess.. - 7/10

$3.99 for Product# 39-2563-8 (http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortments/product_detail.jsp?FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=140847439 6670120&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474396670271&bm UID=1115584315530&PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441890 275&assortment=primary&fromSearch=true) (reg $9.99)

this is a POS ;) maybe it cleaned my tire but no shine :( it says it SHINES gah.. i even read teh instructions BEFORE applying :) would i buy again? nope - 3/10

$9.99 for Product# 09-5030-0 (http://www.canadiantire.ca/assortments/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=84552444188 8759&FOLDER%3C%3EbrowsePath=2534374303517494&FOLDE R%3C%3EbrowsePath=2534374303517520&FOLDER%3C%3Ebro wsePath=1408474396669459&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=140 8474396669459&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=1408474396670 271&bmUID=1115584432069) (reg $29.99)

lol.. does this thing ever blow? PUN intended.. it takes forever to inflate an inflatable doll, even longer for a tire :D I dropped 5psi from my tire and i stood there and waited till it got back to the same level (i bbqd some ribs meanwhile). craftsmanship is NONEXISTENT - i knew it when i bought it but for 10bux i figured i\'d try.. well i wouldn\'t even wish FrostyFire to use this :p.. oh and the scale (PSI) is every 5psi.. YOY! 0/10 returning asap!

doh.. I bought the simoniz dashboard wipes for reg price a few weeks ago, no price match since can tire only does it up to 15 days or 2 weeks. Ah well, I find that it leaves a streak stain on our dash when the wipe is too wet.

edit> Speaking of tire cleaners, anyone have recommendations on a good one that gives it a nice shine?

Product page says \"Anti-static formula helps to repel dust\", does it work?

It\'s not tire washer but for shine; Meguiar\'s Gold Class Endurance

Meguiar\'s seems to always be a good choice..

I just finished washing/waxing the car.. took about 4 hours.. 3 step meguiar\'s wax takes looooong.

And the anti-static doesn\'t really work, atleast from what I\'ve seen on my dash.

I think that 303 Aerospace Protectant is the way to go for dashboards, because the finish it leaves is almost matte, while restoring the interior vinyls to their original color. Armor-All, Turtle Wax interior protectants leave too much of a shiny and greasy sheen. 303 is quite pricy compared to these other protectants but one bottle goes a long way.
