How little is little? Is it worth putting in the autotrader? If not, there are wreckers who will take it and give you a nominal amount of money.

don\'t expect to get much from wreckers IMO. Last time i called a wrecker to pick up a car a got a whole $50.00 not five thousand dollars... fifty dollars... so really aint worth anything.

If you\'re planning to trade it into a dealer and use it towards the \"NEW\" car, forget it, the dealer isn\'t giving you anything for your car to begin with, since they just jack up the selling price of the \'new\' car and then claim that you\'re car is gonna be discounted... PLEASE DON\'T fall for that BS...

Private sale is the best way to go and ask for a bit more than quoted and once you get calls, start negotiating and knocking off on the price (like a dealer salesman) ... sometimes a lil finess, goes a long way.

I don\'t know if its worth putting on autotrader. It is a 1988 Integra with 126,000kms.
The car still runs fine. New tires and quite well maintained. But the body has rusted through around the rear wheels.

Take some pics of the car and post it up on here in the Buy/Sell section with some specs/info and how much you\'re looking for it. I\'m sure of us can help you out. There are people out there who will buy an older car for its working parts if anything.

In case you need it; online photo hosting sites, free, http://www.imageshack.us and http://www.photobucket.com

You\'ld be surprised that when the late fall comes, those types of cars are classic sought after winter beaters. Mechanics who will be responding to your ads mostly, know that it is a fairly easy car to work on and parts fall off of trees both oem wreckages and aftermarket.

Try selling it online in the various car club forums. Integra Board (http://torontointegras.ca/cgi-bin/ultimatebb.cgi)

...but you have to deal with the hassle of tire kickers and lowballers...

I think you will get more for that car than you think it\'s worth......just as has been stated, it would be a great beater for somebody. You can list it for sale free of charge on buysellzone.com or just pay the $35 and put it onto the trader.

Good luck:)

how \'bout selling it to a friend who\'s low on funds but in need of a car. at least this way, if you\'re gonna get a low price for car, you\'ll feel better about giving it to a friend rather than a low-balling stranger

I personally would never sell a car to a friend or family member......especially if the think is a beater. If anything were to ever go wrong it may cause unnecessary tension between the two of you, and I personally never want to see a car again once I\'ve sold it.
