ok,
to make a long story short. i got a speeding ticket and the officer, or maybe someone \"up there\", liked me enough to give me a second chance. basically he reduced the fine. so its only 10 over so just a 40 dollar fine and no points.

i never got a ticket before so what do i do now? it says i can pay the fine online, so is that all i gota do? jkust pay the fine? i am under the impression i gota mail the ticket with some plea of guilt or soemthign? grrrr i just wanna pay the ticket and get this over with.

BASICALLY what im asking is, what do i need to do? just pay online and im done? or are there extra steps?

TIA

Pretty sure if its just 10 over you can just pay it and its done. No points or anything so why fight it for a $40 fine.

Pay it and never speed again.. lol.. or just don\'t get caught

pay it on line or do it in person at the police station (i think). ive had numerous and pay them at the town hall. doing it online is the easiest though, and once that is done you are done with it and never have to think about it again. i wish i had your luck!

any type of speeding ticket, even 10 over and no points, will have a negative effect on your insurance, come renewal ...

BUT .... and there\'s a big BUT

if they don\'t find out, nothing will happen ... so you\'re 50/50

just a friendly FYI

EDIT: WHY? cause a speeding ticket is a speeding ticket, and you broke the law... AND ... paying the fine is just like saying \"YES I\'M GUILTY\" ... maybe something to keep in mind

I got the same ticket. But lets say if I get pulled over again and the officer would ask me about previous tickets. Should I tell him/her about that ticket. Or it doesn't go on my record?

Yes keep it as a lesson learned and abide by the speeding limits posted :) Its always safe to assume when your not sure to 50km/hr UNLESS posted. That'll probably coming biting back when I get my 1st speeding ticket...=/
