Has anyone installed the Tein Basic Coil-overs yet? if so, care to share some insight on how your car rides and how much did the coil-overs cost you?
THEIR SAWEEETT!!!!!!
how\'s that for insight? :p
alright alright...
They are bouncier then those pro-kits on stock shocks but damn they are stiff and handle great. Mind you I can\'t compare too much cause im lower then that too. I find its just bouncier in the front because the springs are completely different from the stock setup or any aftermarket springs. instead of being that huge fat one it is half the size so its alot skinnier. If you drop it on the lowest setting the rubber tucks under the wheel well and damn the camber goes crazy. AUTO X, look\'d hawt but i\'d never make it up my driveway.
Overall their freggin hawt! Check out the other Tein threads on here me and autoexe were doing our homework. Its some info you should know and I am too lazt to type it all.

hey where did you get them installed? My D2 coilovers just arrived... or I just missed them!!! Fedex came today but i wasn\'t at home so they\'ll be back on monday. Need a place to get them put on. Don\'t think I will bother to do it myself.
I didn\'t catch any pics when it was slammed. Was too hyped about getting put on that I forgot the camera. I love them so much that I still haven\'t even taken any pictures. HA! :p
I\'ll try and get some taken in the next couple of days but pics of the lowest setting may have to wait.
Regarding install, I got mine done at Splitfire. If I didn\'t know anyone though the price would of been more im sure. The place Autoexe went too sounds nice and cheap especially for the kinda of labour involved in installing our suspensions.

when you say \"They are bouncier then those pro-kits on stock shocks\"
is that a bad thing?
i\'m planning to drop it 1.1/2\"
would u say it\'s worth getting the tein coilovers, over the pro-kits on the stock shocks?
would tein coilovers ride better than the pro-kits?
it depends what you want the suspension to do. If you want a smoother ride go with the pro-kits but if you want to kick some on ramps ass then go teins. I personally didn\'t like how the eibach sit because the front was just sitting too high for my liking. Its a matter of what you want your car to do for you. I cant give a great comparison though cause RJ3 has his rims and that changes alot in handling, anyone else with pro-kits on stock rims wanna let me take an on ramp with them?? HAHA
If you are only wanting 1.5\" drop then go with the pro-kits on mazdaspeed shocks. Its cheaper and the combo will work good thogether. If you wanna handle like a %@#&$ and sit it just the way you want then go tein.
Evidently its your choice in the end.
