that\'s crazy...all he could do is look at it afterwards and say I use to sit in that seat. :(

Hopefully he could at least salvage his rims.... Damn, that extinguisher didn\'t do a thing. He might as well have pissed on it......

well same thing happen to my co-worker, his car is VW Jetta TDI, he had it service from the dealer for wiper and transmission repair. .. the day after that he parked it inside his garage...and the car juz went into flames (according to investigation), and his new house also got burn to the ground !...hes juz glad that nobody in his family got hurt in that incident...

probably wouldnt be enough in this situation,,,,,my best guess is the oil return line got torn ....so u have hot oil goin on ure super heated manifold and bye bye car:(

gti\'s are awesome, look great but have problems....not as much as i have with my 3 but still theyre pricey...id love to have one...they just look awesome with the right mods....+mk2\'s rock....my next car is definately the new golf

mazdas are just not as reliable/tough as they used to be:sarc

from what I gather he had a big turbo that was too close to things that just caught fire.. it was posted a while ago on my board ... info came from a member of vwvortex.com
