View Full Version : GT SPORT for $27,300 OTR, good deal?

I spoke to some dealers and brokers and the best price I\'ve found so far is $27,300 on the road for:
3 SPORT GT, AT with A/C and wheelocks (including installation).
This is what he told me:
MSRP for what I want is $24,585, markup is $1,621. The price he gave me was with a $300 markup. Plus Frt, A/C tax, Gas tax, colour and wheelocks and tax, it came out to $27,321.70.
Does this sound like a good deal?

I got a 3 Sport with all the fixings.... except Leather and Auto (didnt want either), and paid $26,900 OTR

The only thing I found odd with what he quoted me was that he said MSRP for the specifications I wanted is $24,585.. but when I check on the mazda website, MSRP is supposed to be $23,590.
So the MSRP he quoted is $995 more than what the website said. I\'ll have to ask him about it.

I got my 04 GT Sport with AC, Auto, Moonroof for $28,256. So since you\'re not getting the moonroof then its about the price of my car.

You should easily be able to drop it down to $27000 EVEN, (you\'re paying cash?), and ask them to throw in a freebie, maybe cargo net, floor mats or something

Is the $26,800 after Grad rebate? The $27,300 quote I got is before grad rebate.

no grad rebate, I just finished my 2A term, so no rebate for me =(.

(since i haven\'t ordered my car yet, yes delays keeps popping up =( )
edit: or you can msg FLIPSPEED, he works at mazda of toronto. I haven\'t dealt with him sales wise, but hes a nice guy on the forum. (I don\'t know what position FLIPSPEED works at)

Avante and \"TheBiz\" have quite a good reputation on this board. I purchased my M3Sport from Avante as well and have only good things to say. :)

Went somewhere else to quote a price today and wound up buying it there.
Very happy about the price.
$26,380 OTR for GT sport with AT, A/C, protector plus and wheelocks.
After grad rebate will be $25,880.
Oh happy day! :D

Which dealership? Also, for reference, FLIPSPEED does work at Mazda of Toronto but he is not in sales. He could still likely refer you to somebody, though in your case I guess it\'s a bit too late;)

I got it at Markham Mazda. 7 and McCowan.
Salesperson was Ray, very good to talk to. Nice guy.
They had quite a few cars on the lot.. I suspect I got the price i got only cuz they had the EXACT one i wanted on the lot.

I don\'t know what\'s wrong w/ the PM\'s but they keep going undelivered when I try to send one to you so I\'ve resorted to this. I\'m new to this board but I\'ve been lurking around ever since the Mazda3 came out. After reading about you\'ve helped alot of members here on the board get great deals (kudos to Saphress) on their 3\'s has finally convinced me to take the plunge and get an account here. =P I\'m in Thornhill and Avante would have been the dealership I first would have gone to so it works out great for me. I\'m definitely interested in getting a 3 within a month assuming everything works out for me. I\'m looking to lease for a 36 or 48 month period. How much would the following be OTR?
Mazda3 Sport GT (Cloth) 5SPD
Sunset Orange Mica or Black Mica
A/C + Moonroof + Wheel Locks + Block Heater
Possible accessories: Deflectors (hood/moon), cargo net
I\'m itching to get into one so if you could let me know what availability is like and when I could expect one that would be great! If there are any that fit what I want but in a different colour that would be available sooner, I would also be interested. Sorry about the lengthy message but I\'m looking forward to you reply. Just give the dealership a call and ask for him! I emailed the main Avante contact address with a request for a quote, and though I originally negotiated the price with someone else, I ended up dealing with him to close the deal in the end anyway.
I went through the same thing today... honestly, PM TheBiz (Jeff from Avante), and he will take care of you. He is by far one of the best and most straight forward people I have ever dealt with in the automotive industry... he\'ll tell you what he can do, and I guarantee it will be far better then the other dealerships quote you.
edit: and apparantly I don\'t know how to read... :p you\'re on the right track... :D
