View Full Version : Where to get EYE LIDS?

I\'ve seen some of the M3 owners have eye lids on their headlights, I\'ve also seen them for sale on eBAY, but relatively expansive (range from US$60~$100), which I think these simply plastic eye lids don\'t worth that price, so I was wondering anyone would know where to get them LOCALLY with a decent price!? :)

typically eyelids aint just SOME PLASTIC .... if you really want to cheap out i would say just get some coloured vynil and have some home-made-eyelid-rice (cost approx. $5)

unless someone is going to unload a used pair fairly sheap i would say to be prepared to spend some where in the neighbourhood of $75-$100 for a GOOD pair of lids .. BTW, they\'re almost all made of FG

Yah I just wanted to know where I can buy them locally.....I\'ve seen a few on eBAY, US$50 + another $30 for painting + Shipping, add that up will definitely be over CAD$150.....also I have a concern the color they painted will not EXACTLY match my original paint color, so that\'s my concern.

lol yea that would be awkard when u pay 150 for the eyelids, when u finally get it in the mail u find out it doesn\'t match the car\'s color. but 150 is decent for eyelids. I think u might be able to get it at Pmall, that formula import thing.

ok here\'e how \'eye-lids\' usually work.... you buy them prepped and READY-to-be-painted .... but you would have to get your colour code to make sure that they will match exactly. Professional body/paint shops will be able to handle getting the accurate colour match to your car, since they tipically have to order from Mazda anyway. Once they have your car\'s colour code (found on the inside of the drivers door) they will match it exact ... got it ...

now for buying eyelids for the 3, erebuni makes em ...

Part No. 428EB (made of FiberGlass) and they cost $136US for the pair

YOUR FRONT IS SEXY!!!
HOLY CRAP! DROOL

Hey just a heads up...
Although ACCOLADE sells eyelids and some cool kits. I have been hearing some bad stuff about them chipping and breaking, under normal conditions...
My bf bought a set before of eyelids last fall from them and the paint is chipping off them... SO if you really want a good pair you\'ll have to spend a bit more $$.

Just walked into an accessories store in First Markham Place to check out a Mazda3 grill. The guy there said they have eye lids for our 3 as well, $55/pair un-painted. I think they\'re quite cheap; not sure what they made of though.

Its really good no problems yet. But make sure you buy the second generation grills. The first generation has a small gap between the top of the grill and the hood. I guess its ok though because there is a seal inbetween the 2. I payed 75 dollars canadian to get grill and eyelids primed sanded and painted
