Hey guys, i am planning to get the prolumen kit from devin but i just wanted to see what you guys think of the them ? Is it better to have the ballast and ignitor separate? Oh, and if you have a prolumen kit .. what do you like/hate about it ?
Its an HID kit theres not much to say about it. Well in terms of colour its white not blue like xtec at 5000k. That could be looked at like a good thing or a bad thing. I installed the kit just over a week ago and well HIDs are great.

I have the 5000K Xtec kit, and after warmup (10seconds or so) they are almost pure white. there is VERY VERY little to no blue at all in the look of mine.

love my prolumen bulbs.. a slight lavender tinge to it - looks a bit like stock audi/bmw
will you be able to do warranty through devin? does he offer lifetime? then i\'d say go for it ;)

The bulbs are also interchangeable, right? When it comes time to replace the bulb I can change it with a Philips, Xtec, or ProLumen (same K) bulb?

Prolumen and Xtec can be swapped, but Phillips would require an adaptor. I can be done though

Hey Everyone,
The Prolumen kits do come with a lifetime full replacement warranty. The colours of Prolumen Bulbs are a little more true then the xtec not by much but if you look on the site:
http://www.thexenonstore.com/resource.htm
you can see the light measurements
