Hardwire Your iPod

Does anyone know how to hardwire the cord to plug into your iPod through the stock headunit? Do I need to take the car to an audio shop to do it for me? Cost? Is it even possible with the stock HU? I have the 6CD Changer, if that makes a difference. Just curious...:)

you need a kit and a module, that comes with instructions that shows clearly where it plugs in. It also differs from models to years.
