Can you help me value this car? Decide whether to buy out lease?
I am coming to the end of a lease and trying to figure out whether to buy the car or what. Here's what I've got:
2009 Mazda 3 GT sedan, black mica
Air conditioning, moonroof
15,000 KM almost exactly (yes, fifteen thousand)

What is the buyout price?

You can easily sell it for 15 000. If you are planning on re-leasing another car I would suggest seeing what kind of deal they will give you off a new car. The dealership can list this car for 17 000 and still make a good profit. See what kind of incentive they will give you and make your decision from there.

Or is it $10,500 + HST + Admin + Safety + E-Test = approx $12500?

It's $10,500 plus admin + safety + HST = approx $12500.

Unless you managed to: (crash it, drive it into flood waters, had a major crime take place inside it, or suffered a mold/mildew outbreak in the interior) in the span of the 15,000kms you've had it, then you should be able to sell that car for upwards of $15,000 with ease.

It's in mint condition. Oh, also it has dealer tints.

Agree with others - Buy it out then resell it for some coin.
Then just use a zipcar for your errands until you decide on your next vehicle.

Why not keep it? It's not old at all and low mileage.

Cashflow over the next few months is the main reason. I'm not taking out any loans. I work for myself and the past couple years have really sucked (put way too much time/energy into a couple things that went NOWHWERE). It makes more financial sense for me to get a new lease for lower payments with no money down (in a slightly nicer car than I've got now), and put the buy-out $ towards paying down all my accounts that are now accruing significant interest every month.
I realize that based on what I just said I should buy the car and then sell it for the almost-assured profit.. but I have no experience doing such things and the prospect of placing ads, meeting buyers, doing paperwork literally gives me gut-tension.

If anyone's curious I said **** it and leased a 2012 M3 GT.

Exacctly, not worth the hassle.
I doubt you pocket 2-3 after the tax and the dealer fee.
For $500-$1000, i have to pay $125k up front and make sure I find a buyer before it depreciate. Unless you have to fix those dings and dents that would cost you more to return it. Otherwise, buy it for your own or return it.
