Did they use the screws to install it? Or did they just use the tape?

Wow!!!! The tints look great, awesome job bro! Now you've convinced me to think about this mod more and more.
tint looks real nice, I would have went a little lighter but it came out sweet.
looks sweet! might have to try this out myself.
thanks everyone..
yeah went way too dark..
going to do em lighter next time!
LOL.. i've been thinking about it.. if i do decide to get it done, i'll probably go the professional route cause i'm not experienced with this... but yes I would probably go a bit lighter than yours.. yours does flow well with the car, considering your blacked out emblems... perhaps a black roof in the near future?
black roof may be in the near future actually hahah..
the process wasn't too bad but gotta be so careful with the tint..
yeah ive removed the tint already and gonna go maybe just 2 coats next time..
will post pics again after i get em done..
some tinted tails on your car will make your car look friggin meannnn
LOL....getting your roof done will look good, flows well with the theme of your car. Double layering it will give it the darker look, got to see this after its done :thumbsup
Yeah, I think I would go for a lighter tint if I were to get the tails tinted.. its something to think about at the moment :chuckle
damn you justin... my hunger for modding has returnedddddd
ahahah getting my lighting mods this weekend.... mini meet when we do the install!?!?! Also, you still letting go of those eyelids? ;);)
btw, sick ride ahahah.
Questions about the nightshade.
1. Did you wet sand the tails before putting the nightshade?
2. Did you put a couple of layers of clearcoat?
3. Did you wet sand after the layers?
4. Did you use a compound after to polish?
5. What did you use to take off the nightshade?
Just saw a process on Youtube so wondering your process. Looks great btw.
Heres what I do and I do this to everything I own
1. Clean tail lights (make sure no grease or dirt are on them)
2. Spray 3 coats I've night shade (wait 10 mins before coats)
3. Spray 4 coats of clear coat (wait 20 mins before each coat)
4. Wait a few days then wax them.. If it's not smooth then you can compound then wax
Night shade is permeant so do it if your sure you want it done lol
I think rubbing alcohol will remove it if i recall correctly
hey guys.. i used acetone to remove it.. it completely removes everything..
i just did it right now haha.. i took off all the tints.. and i think i might just stay with the no tint..
its kinda hard to get an even distribution of the tint over the headlights especially when i dont want it to be too dark..
what i found with using the niteshades is that you either go dark or dont do it at all..
i didnt clear coat nor sand it but it came out just as nice when i put about 3 coats of niteshade over it.. didnt need the sand didnt need the coat.. i cleaned it a couple of times and nothing would make the niteshade come off..
and yes again acetone will remove this stuff.. ive used it plenty of times already..
+1 for staying with no tint. IMO it looks better without on your car.
Just so you know, you got lucky with $50 from velocity, I called them, and they said $100
