Does the SRI take any of the Skyactivs initial 'ticking' sound the engine makes for the first 40 seconds or so when you start it? Someone just told me there's something wrong with my car when I remote started it, and the Corksport SRI came to mind.

I can't say anything about the pricing or if it would make the savings from shipping worthwhile... but Motion Mazda, and Dave Wood Mazda are both listed as Corksport dealers. I don't think I would get them to install though, as the labor details would be logged in their database and will follow your car. But I presume you could walk in and buy parts anonymously? Can anyone who's purchased from them chime in on this?

when u start the engine it roars louder and in a deeper, throatier tone. it does take some of the sound away because it is an open system and u get that intake sound. it was extremely easy to install, the instructions are really clear and for extra help they have a youtube page that has a video on the install on a skyactiv engine. literally took me 15 min to put on. i recommend it to everyone LOVE THE SOUND
