Intake CAI conversion to "SRI"
(I think this applies to all makes of 2 in 1 intakes, Injen, K&N Typhoon etc etc.)
This was done on a 2.3L (1st gen) and I've read that 2.0L uses same intakes, please be sure and don't quote me on it.
1.) Remove 3 plastic screws and plugs
2.) Remove 3 metal screws (starting from closest to wheel) *forgot to note on pic that the mount and needs to be removed/loosened located behind the front left fog light.
3.) a. Loosen the clamps on rubber center connector
b. Remove sensors
c. Loosen the clamp closest to the intake port (closest to engine)
4.) After mount and center clamps are removed, pull the intake and filter out through the bottom
(I seperated the filter and bottom half of intake prior to removing them)
You may need to use this for filter (*)
5.) I did need to use the rubber center connector to make up the difference in the width of the ports for the filter to fit snug to the top half of the intake or the "SRI" side.
6.) Tighten everything back up and call it a good hour or less.
