Has anyone tried ussuing a speed shift plate in the 2.5. I would think it would be a very similar set up? They are both 6 speed arent they?

For those of you that have the full replacement for a 2010 MZ3 (2.5L), do you have increased resistance and sometimes a plastic click when going into 3rd? I'm using a stock knob and did adjustments with the plastic orange tab already. I usually feel the increased resistance and the plastic sound when I'm trying to shift slightly faster than normal, whether it'd be 2nd to 3rd or down shifting from 4th to 3rd. When I say slightly faster, I'm not shoving my shifter really hard, and I'm shifting just a bit faster than I would be when I'm cruising.

I asked TWM about it before and they said I might have pinched my shift cables (I was really careful with it during the install). If that is true though, wouldn't this happen with shifting into any gear that requires pushing, (1,3, and 5)?
I greased the lockout plate, and it's more of a clicking sound than a squeak. Thanks for the suggestion though. The problem only pertains to shifting into 3rd gear and I can't figure out what exactly is causing the click and increased resistance (relative to all the other gears)
