If the new arm and several different blades don't work, I'm pretty convinced that there's something on the glass causing it to skip. If it were me, I'd probably try cleaning the glass with a detailing clay. Sometimes glass cleaners don't get the tough stuff off. Just a guess though

It might help for you to post a pic of vid of the problem area.

I think there might be some residue on the window as well. One of the times when I was waxing my car I waxed the windows (before I discovered rain-x) and it made my wipers chatter like crazy.

What do you clean your windows with? Have you applied Rain-X before?

I have noticed that certain glass cleaners and even Rain-X has caused the same thing as you're describing to happen on my car, although not as badly.

Try getting a glass cleaner of some sort that will strip off any residue on the glass. I've seen some before but I can't remember what it's called right now.

Those or autoglym glass polish work fine^

I bet the skipping is residue or something on the window.

Lololol I tried taking a video but it goes to fast haha. I'm going to pick up some heavy duty window cleaner this weekend and give it a try. I've just washed the windows with soap and water and shammied them.. Then use windex. Probably a bad idea haha. Thanks everyone .

I'll let you know if the other stuff works

Windex is not good to use on Automotive. You need auto glass cleaner which has no ammonia. If you have tint, and use glass cleaner with ammonia on your tint, it will ruin your tint.

Classic res problem. Tar and bug splatter spray mixed with a quality glass cleaner ( not windex ) is best! Btw do tar n splatter remover and then proceed with cleaner. Never mix products.
