Lightbulb OBX coil packs? Yay or nay

I tend to stay away from products that are available on eBay for performance but the price of the oem coil pack is ridiculous to say the least ,
I've been trying to find good reviews on this product but id rather ask fellow Mazda enthusiasts as someone here must have seen these or are running them . I have bought the silicone rad hoses from OBX and they were direct fit and still haven't burst or failed to impress me three years later so as far as I'm convinced OBX is a decent company.
From what I can see they are direct fitment and an oem replacement that is aftermarket but I'm unsure of quality and reliability as they are sold on eBay as well as performance sites .
Anyone have a good review? Or a good alternative? Open to ideas and thoughts, as I feel like I have a misfire and is very annoying. Want this taken care of immediately..

    Cheers,

Do you have a shot coil pack? Are you throwing a CEL? Could it be a plug?

It may not be what your looking for but IMO there is certain things that should remain stock. Coil packs are one of them. The price at the dealer may seem outrageous but I don't think there is a need to upgrade coil packs. And going for an aftermarket solution is not always the best option.

For example. The best oil filter for the 3 is genuine Mazda, the best plugs ( for non speeds) is genuine.

IIRC - OBX, Ractive, Eurolite and Toucan are all under the same manufacturer. (Or they were 10-15 years ago.)

Makes sense I figured it was the best choice , guess I should pray its only one that is misfiring and I don't need several coil packs cause that price craaaaaay

For an 04 I'd hit the scrap yard if they are that high priced.

If you are actually misfiring you'll throw a code. When you scan it, it will tell you what cylinder.

If you have a CEL im heading to newmarket for work sometime this week, i could bring my ultraguage and scan the code, but youd have to be available during the day

I think some water got onto my o2 sensor wiring yesterday as it rained quite a bit as I was driving no cel was thrown but there was before I reset ecu but then again I have a "unique" exhaust to say the least
Let me heatshrink the open wiring tonight and ill see what's good tomorrow thanks

Maybe I should have emphasizes the garbage part. Not all CT products are garbage. And nextmod also sells ractive. ( nothing against them on this. You need to sell product that hits a price point people want to pay, in reality I have nothing against ractive or similar products, it's just the cheaper end of the spectrum. )

With certain things like coil packs. I wouldn't cheap out.

And I'm in Bradford area if you need a code checked.
