idk if you still available the 29th or if yu want another date. i know you started this idea.
i have a bunch of guys from work who were wanting to do a similar run, i can bring them along if yu guys are interested. most are not mazdas.

I just checked with the wife, and I'm 100% for the 29th of September. Can we start around 3:00pm? She will be heading back that morning, and want to give her lots of time to head home, pick up the kid, etc.

my buddies and i were thinking of leaving around 11am. go for the drive. then have a little bbq thing then head home.
im sure your kid would enjoy it, not sure if you want to bring them or not but thats what we were thinking of.

we also have a different route planned so we dont back track at all.

My kid is 7 months right now, so we can see how he does. I was hoping to go without him in the car just in case he got really fussy. Worse case scenario I guess I can just pull over and change or feed him. Hopefully it would be good timing where I feed him just before I leave and then maybe he'd sleep for a good hour in the car or so.

Agreed. We can organize something like that on the fly during the cruise if we want. I'd say just do the cruise, and other activities can happen as they happen depending on day
