Hey guys, here's they deal:
I've got a 2013 Black Mica Mazda 3 Skyactiv GS-L, and I'm wanting to put on aftermarket rims. Suspension is stock for now, but would consider a lower either on Eibach Prokits or coil overs sometime in the future.
It's come down to these two, and I want to get some other opinions here.
Option 1:
Wheels: Enkei RSF5 Black 17x7.5", +50 offset - ~$750.00
Tires: Continental Extremecontact DWS 205/50/17 - ~$635
Total: $1385.00
or
Option 2:
Wheels: RX8 OEM 18x8", +50 offset - $300 (used)
Tires: Stock RX8 Tires for now - (Included with Rims)
Total: $300
Personally, I love the Enkei rims, but I know that the RX8 rims go really well with any Mazda really, and it is a popular combo. I'm also a student so price becomes somewhat of an issue, not to mention the fact that I can pick up the rims locally instead of having to ship everything. Also the money saved would allow me to purchase other upgrades, or maybe repaint/finish the rims.
I know I've basically answered my question, but can anyone see any other reasons / pros / cons to my options? Appreciate any input here!
Thanks again guys!
