Hey guys, I'm not sure if this is electrical but today I had my car idling for about 5-6 minutes and then I heard a pop. My idle changed and became louder and all my HIDs started flickering. Along with that, the engine check light came on. I turned off the car but when I started it after, no HIDs but the passenger headlight came on.

My buddy plugged in a potable OBD2 and a code appeared as P2122 indicating (Accelerator position sensor/ low vacuum/low circuit) it was reflashed and the check light is off.

What I want to know is, what the hell happened and will it happen again?

FYI, the HIDs are all 55W (headlights and fogs) and are digital ballasts.

One last thing... I just straight piped the exhaust from the cat and I have been hanging around 2000-3000 rpm in second and third gear. Is this bad?
