All 5w oils are rated to be pumpable at -35C. The temps we've been having are no where close to that, so whether you warm up the car or drive gently right away has no bearing on engine wear.
Having said that, my 3 is equipped with a remote start and it is used every morning to put some heat into the cabin and to prevent windows from frosting over and be more comfortable. Car is a tool that serves me, not the other way around.

I usually warm up my car for about 2 minutes or however long it takes me to respond to some texts or check up on social media after work
