Hey all, first post
I recently purchased a red 2014 Mazda 3 From a Mazda dealership near me, a few months have gone by and I have noticed some minor bubbling on the front wheel arches, on both sides, towards the front of the car, where the wheel arch meets the bumper cover,
my Mazda was made in japan and in 2013, so its about 4 years old, is this sort of rust normal? has anyone else experienced this? can this be covered under the warranty? I dont think it constitutes perforation.
I have sent and email contacting Mazda Canada about the issue, have yet to hear from them.
It also seems to me a repair there would never really fair well for a long period of time anyway, its very unfortunate that I didn't notice this when buying the car, my first gen 3 with rust out the ass has clean front wheel arches, might even be the only rust free part of my 04 M3,
I take some blame here, the car was pretty clean except those arches, I did not pay close attention enough when inspecting the car for purchase, but otherwise its been great, but thats what everyone says
I have sprayed some corrosion free on the spot since,
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
