    Default Car cover

    Hi all,
Has anyone purchased the Mazda 3 car cover to be used outside? I am debating the purchase of one as I typically only drive the car a couple of times a week. Is it useful in all seasons? Any helpful hints?
    Thanks!

I use a car cover on my 66 Mustang, as I don't have garage space for it. I got a good all season cover, and its nice. No frost on the car in the morning, water repellant but breatheable... Nice custom fit too. Just consider this though, do not use the cover on a dirty car, ESPECIALLY if you get any sort of wind in the area you park in. If you put the cover on your dirty car, expect to see fine scratches at the least, as the cover will rub the dirt into the paint. Clean car an clean cover, good to go!

    Hope this helps!

It helps for sure. Thank you.

It also raises another question. How dirty is so dirty that I should not put the cover on? I wash the car often enough that dirt never accumulate in great amounts, but there are times when I will have to drive in the rain or snow. So after a drive in wet conditions and the car is dry do I put on the cover or give it it a quick wash and dry first (which can't always happen). A whole lot of dirt will not not have attached itself, but will be there?

I'm probably being a bit too anal, but whatever.

    Cheers!
