Can I buy this key for a 2010 Mazda 3?

Hi,

I know the spare key question has been asked 1,000,000 times but I just want to make sure it still works with the 2010 model:

I was looking to buy this as my 3rd key:

Will that work with the 2010 model (with the same instructions as before when you have 2 working keys)

They wanted 300$ for a 3rd key and this car is brand new!

Even if they sold the key for the same amount as the web's, I'd not buy it from them because of their dirty tricks. /rant

PM FLIPDADY he'll hook you up with a key and cut it to spec for your vehicle. programming the key is easy lol you can do it yourself with the how-to's on this site

From what i have seen they have the flipkeys on the new ones unless you get the top of the line model with the fob. That key should work no problem

I was thinking flip key. (you can just buy a new uncut key part)
I havent used one of those for like 3 years I'm so used to my flip key

Not gonna lie the push start is great but forgetting keys in your toolbox because you dont have to use them to get in and out of your car is a pain lol

Yep it works! Just bought two cut keys from my local dealer for $40 each. Programmed myself, and saved $100.

Use your cut code from your original tag on your ring. Then check around on the mazda3forum for instructions.

If I bring the flip key and the uncut key to my local keymaker (the one mazda recommends actually), they'll be able to cut it?

Or do I need to bring the cut code as well (key cutting is a mystery to me, I always thought it involved voodoo and dead chickens.)

they should be able to cut it aslong as you have a key they can copy cut
