Default Question for people with the 5 spd manual

Whenever it gets cold the shifting always gets notchy. When I go on the highway to work it becomes smooth, but for the first 15 minutes the shifter is notchy especially when going in second and third. Does anyone else have this problem? Any advice? Is synthetic transmission oil better than the dealer oil? Thanks for the help.

In winter when the temp is below 0 - shifter feels heavy and sluggish. Normally lasts about 5 minutes or untill the fluids warm up.

But that's winter time - not beginning of October

Did you purchase the ns blend in particular?...because that's what I switched too after trying Royal Purple and even in -35C temps last winter, I experienced no notchy shifting whatsoever.
