Looking at pics 3Remix posted, does the 2010 sedan not come with a lip spoiler instead of the floating type spoiler? Or is this a trunk swap?
Can you fill us in 3Remix?

That's interesting.
I've heard otherwise. I heard you can't remove the spoiler on the GT models. You can only get the floating rear spoiler on the lower trimmed vehicles.
This is what I thought but I know some of the lip spoilers are attached via screws and not just with 3M tape. This is why I was wondering how to get a floating type spoiler on a GT. And yes, this is not cheap.
The GT's come stock with a lip spoiler and I know it is an option with the GX/GS. 3Remix has answered my question as this is not a GT and he was able to mount a raised spoiler.
If someone can confirm that the lip spoiler is easily removed without leaving any holes and the Raised can be put on, that would be great.
Flipdady, any experience with this as of yet?
OK guys. Had a chat with Joe at MOT and he looked it up. The lip spoiler on the 2010 GT is held in place by clips and holes across the entire trunk.
So, for a GT to have a floating style spoiler, you'd have to do a trunk swap or some serious work to fill the holes.
I gotta admit, that spoiler looks pretty sexy on the 2010 mazda 3s
2010 Subaru STI

Not enough room to list
FYI: The OEM Floating Spoilers are backordered from Japan right now. No ETA on when they are coming into local dealers so far. If anyone has word on the arrival of these let us know
But as usual, you have connections or always have stock at MOT.
OK, that makes sense then.
Japan has to get them first from Montreal.
I was told that removing the GT lip spoiler would leaves holes in my trunk lid, but the guy at Shinzowerks guaranteed that it was just double sided tape. Is there a special procedure involved in removing the lip spoiler with the clips and all? I wanted to vinyl wrap the spoiler
The guys at Shinzo are great but I think they may be mistaken as it probably is taped AND bolted to the lid. To double check though, open the trunk and look on the inner lid. You may have to remove the carpeted piece but this will show you if it is bolted or not. If it is, which it most likely is, you will have holes if you try to remove it.
When I spoke to Flipdady, he pulled up the 2010 GT with his parts breakdown and it showed the holes and bolts for the lip. To be sure, follow what CWP_Sedan said.
