    Exclamation Will they fit?

Currently I'm running on manufactures 205/55/R17's but I've got a buddy who's got a set of rims and tires for me for a good price but the sizing is 225/45/ZR17's.

I'm also sitting on Sportline springs with Koni Yellow shocks ... I wheel tuck at the moment and I'm not sure if I'll be able to put this set of rims & tires on.

    Can anyone offer some insight?

    Thank you!

224/45R17 will definitely fit... depending on the rims. What is the offset of the rims? Also, do the they have the correct bolt pattern (5x114.3mm) and centre bore (67.1 mm) to fit a Mazda3?

I'm dropped on Prokits and have zero issues with my 225/45R17 ZE912s running on 17"x8" +45mm offset Enkeis.

Hey, I'm not too sure my buddy has the details. He says they'll fit so we'll see.

One thing to note though buddy, I'm sitting 0.6 lower in the front and 0.8 in the rear. Prokits drop front 1.4 and rear 1.2 ... I've got an all around 2.0 drop. So there lays the dilemma.

You really need to know the offset before anyone can tell you if they fit. If you find out let us know.

    shouldn't OE tires be 205-50-17?

Either way, it should be fine. But offset and bore will make or break. What car does he drive?
