What's up Mazda 3ers?

Hey guys and gals!

Just wanted to say hello and formally introduce myself to everybody

The name is Jay and I just picked up a used 2007 Mazda 3 GT Hatch a few weeks ago. The darker gray color.

Pretty sweet car with all the little luxuries that it comes with.

It was a little weird driving it at first though coming from a Honda/Acura background because of the slow hydraulic clutch but with some minor timing adjustments I was able to get back to ripping through the gears.

This TM3 forum is awesome, I've read some of the threads and everybody seems to be nice and pretty helpful. Looking forward to contributing in any which way I can.

Btw, can somebody point me to the thread on how to post pictures? Got some sick audio equipment that I want to post in the classifieds and see if anybody's interested. Thanks!

I believe there may be a recall for your car model

Mazda Canada is recalling 90,000 vehicles to fix problems with the power-steering system that could lead to a crash.

The recall involves model year 2007 to 2009 Mazda 3 and Mazda 5 vehicles built from April 2007 through November 2008.

Mazda says the vehicles could have a sudden loss of power-steering assist, making it more difficult for the driver to steer the vehicle.

The automaker says that could increase the risk of a crash.

In the U.S., the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration said Mazda Motor Corp. would recall 215,000 vehicles.

The U.S. government opened an investigation into steering problems in the vehicles in June after 33 complaints, including three crashes.

It's in the classifieds sticky. Though normally a person will hit 50 posts after 2 week anyways so it usually isn't a huge deal.

As for the OP, Welcome! A good piece of advice, use the search feature! More people will like you if you do that
