Help me choose...

Purchasing 2010 GS Mazda 3 with tinted windows and moonroof. Problem is I can't make my mind up between the Graphite Mica or the Aluminum Metallic so I am just gonna throw it out there and take a poll! Please help me on this one because it's literally driving me nuts!

This is the first cool silver color for the 3.

!!!aluminum mica!!!...looks really good under the sun...graphite is quite dull but I believe should be the easiest to maintain. Graphite will hide stone chips well...

I would personally choose another colour than grey or graphite as majority of cars on the road are grey. I have to admit it does look good, but there are just too damn of them

The graphite hides the "smile" grill better, and may also hide the dirt better. The aluminum looks great on a sunny day when it's clean. I went with aluminum, but you gotta go with what looks best to your eyes.

I got aluminum metallic mica. It was a nice middle ground. It's not grey, not quite silver and does indeed look good in the sun. Also shows as a bit of a darker colour around dusk. Plus it tends to hide the dirt (I just realistically don't have the time to wash it as much as I want to these days).

I considered graphite up until I signed the papers, but opted to go with aluminum. I had a black car before and and swirl marks will show, didn't want that again with a dark coloured car.

I initially wanted CWP, but again. washing. and my car lives outside so it'd be dirty all the time.

overall, I'm very pleased with the aluminum colour.

PS. I tend to see just as many white cars on the road these days as I do "grey/silver"

I went with Graphite Mica. Looks great in the sun. Kind of sparkles due to the kind of paint. Had a silver car before so I wanted a change. I am very happy with it. Really a personal choice. Either way I am sure you will love it. Is it factory tinted or is it used? Just wondering.

My observations would indicate that the aluminum is a very attractive colour. My experience (our last 3 was what was then called Carbon Grey Mettalic) is that the darker colour is very prone to showing dirt, particularly winter road grime.

+1 on hiding scratches.

On the second day of owning my car, it had a run in with one of Toronto's wonderful big blue recycle bins. The section under fog light now has a healthy (series) scratch on it, but thankfully it's hidden fairly well.
-> NOT pleased with the person that didn't move my car before taking the bin out of the garage. *insert anger here*.

It really comes down to personal preference. Aluminum will probably hide the dirt better... But with a tint, the Graphite just looks SO awesome.

graphite mica....thats the colour of my car, and when its clean it looks amazing
