I'm picking up my new black GS sport this week and I wanted leather and the dealer offered aftermarket leather installed. Am I going to have problems with it? Is the quality as good as factory installed?

Any update on the aftermarket leather? Pictures??
I know both Flipdady and phil05gx have gotten their cars done up in leather. You can ask them.
CURRENT: 2009 Subaru Impreza STI | 2007 Mazdaspeed 3 | 2003 Chevy Silverado 2500HD | 2009 BMW X5 3.5d
GONE: Apparently too many cars to list in the signature....
2010 Black Mazdaspeed 3 - Lightly modded
or buy some seats out of a FF svt
Just finished wrapping my seats with OEM leathers. They came off of an 08 hatch and fitment was bang on except behind the seat back where the seat locks are located. Hatch and sedan have them in a different spot but you can't see it unless you pull the seat back down.
Look to spend around $1,000+ on leathers. Adds a touch of luxury and value to your car.
If thats aftermarket leather it looks identical to OEM leather.
2010 GT Sedan CWP
MODS: Too many to list!
Bet the car smells way different now... like cinnamon.
Do you wear leather pants in the car? That would feel weird... like 2 cows rubbin' on each other.
2010 Mazda 3 Sport - 1,000 RWUP (Rear Wheel Unicorn Power)
1991 Nissan Pathfinder - trade in, 2005 Mazda 3 GX ty grey - Write off, 2010 Mazda 3 GT E sedan CWP- trade in, 2010 Speed 3 w/tech CWP - Up for sale (soon), 2007 Mazda 3 GS silver- motor swapped in to 2009 MS3 CWP that had blown engine, 2002 BMW 330ci silver- new winter ride, 2005 BMW M3- new toy
^Wouldn't leather be worse? You might end up with rips.
the put that bitch in a carrier
the dog i mean
nice seat
I have two Westies. Small dogs usually scratch the trim instead if they are hyper. Train them not to be hyper and its all good.
My '08 TRD Tacoma couldn't come with leather, but Toyata offered to upgrade the double cab for $1800. Because of the demand, Toyota Canada has apparently opened a shop near St. Thomas just for this upgrade on their cars in Canada/Southern ON
Looks like I'll be pulling hairs from that cloth for a while.
Mazda ... gone zoom zoom!2012 Tacoma TRD Sport DCLB 'Lifted'/ 2008 Ford Escape Limited
P.S. Due to recent budget cuts and the rising cost of electricity, gas and oil, as well as current market conditions, 'The Light at the End of the Tunnel' has been turned off.
Any actual store recommendation, anyone? This is to buy+get installed good quality (OEM-quality or better, not cheap look-alikes) leather for my '10 M3 GS
(I can't do the installation myself so bestleatherkits is not a real option for me). I am a newbie and don't know which aftermarket stores have good reputation/can be trusted
No dogs allowed in my car unless in a carrier.
