    Default BOV options

    So i've decided to purchase a bov for the 2010 mazdaspeed 3. which one does everyone recommend is the best one to purchase.....

    They have it in other colours too. It's dual port so can be setup half recirc (BPV), half VTA (BOV) so that you don't run overly rich on shifts...I'll probably be picking one of them up this spring.

    Hopefully you have an intake before you bother with a BOV/BPV...

    HKS SSQV!!!!!! We have done a few of these and they sound the best. i have heard many others and still the HKS looks and sounds best.

    I've also heard good reviews about the HKS SSQV.... is it a direct bolt on like do I need a special adapter or anything?

    Do you have a means to tune out the extra fuel your gonna dump between shifts after the MAF has calibrated fuel for the air coming in and the bov sends it out to atmosphere? Otherwise you're gonna run hella rich between shifts. Sounds like fun.

    RPM dives like crazy between shifts (making shifting much rougher), the car will stutter and hesitate when revving, you will lose a ton of gas mileage and you will clog the cats full of unburnt fuel and back fire very frequently. Unless you decide to go with a BPV, have fun with a BOV.
