Default Sub + Amp + Wiring combo opinions

Hey guys, I'm looking at picking up this amp + sub combo for my car.
    http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...ss-Bundle.html

    It includes a 8" Alpine SWR-823D type R sub
    Rockford Fosgate PBR300X1 amp
and a 10 gauge complete amp installation kit

It's gonna be installed in a stealthbox i made that goes where the jack currently sits

I just wanted to get some opinions on how this set up would sound and whether or not this wiring kit would be sufficient

Would I need to get anything else for my install?

I'm not commited to buying this set up yet but feel free to recommend other 8" sub + amp combos

    Thanks

Should sound pretty good. Only thing is you might need more speaker wiring (16 Gauge IIRC) since you have a hatch, and it's easier to tap into the wiring directly behind the headunit instead of going to the door speakers.

And also, using this amp, would I need to get a LOC?

Nope, looks like it has high level input so you don't need a LOC.

It says you'll also need a:

10 gauge power and ground wiring is required for installation.
