PLEASE HELP!! Scratched Interior!

Hey Friends,

I just bought my mazda3 last week from a private seller. The exterior of the car was in immaculate condition, but sadly, I can't say the same about the interior. The previous owner had a 3 year old boy and he managed to scratch the crap out of the interior of the car.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience in fixing it up because I really can't afford to buy new parts to replace them!

probably easier to find a good dash out of a wrecked car.

i just looked up one for a 2007 and it came up with one match
a grade, $150

on aug 6 and 7 there is a free parts day. cash and carry, 50 bucks and all you can carry out in your hands.

get a dash at a wrecker.. they should be in pretty good condition

Either that 3 yr old has claws, or it wasn't a 3 yr old. Looks almost like a cat did that. And besides, how the heck would a 3 yr old scratch the dash that far up by the windshield?

Like everyone else has said, try the wreckers. You won't be able to fix that without making it worse, or making it look like you went the cheapest route possible and tried patching it. GL in your search!

it can't be fixed, the only way to get rid of that huge scratch is replacing the passenger airbag!

looks more likely to be the previous owner was moving some long piece of something that reached to the front dash (for example a long 2x4, for visual sake) and it scractched the shiza out of the dash.

you'd buy a car that's scratched b/c the price was right

I once got a car that needed a new gas tank carb and a whole new braking system. It was an 86 olds.
Actually I traded a 84 scotsdale with a 350 super rocket and a twisted frame( I twisted the frame after putting the engine I was given in) I got that truck for an 67 bolens lawn tractor with a blown engine that I got back 3 months later cause the guy moved. I then sold the tractor and got my money back for the brake system.

Sometimes deals just can't be passes up.

which is something i woudlnt touch id just leave it but thats me, i scratched up my whole plastic trim when i was doin the stereo change but luckly its just a side peice , anyways good luck man

That ebay item MPS posted looks like a good deal. I'd go this route, or check out the wreckers as others have stated!

Now what would a three year old child be doing on the front passenger seat anyways? lol.

I ended up just sanding it down and sticking on a nextmod sticker ontop of it!
