Two Wash-mitt's One Sponge?
I hope all of you use Grit Guards
The stuff that doesn't come off with a gentle swipe from your sheepskin wash-mitt, should be clayed off
Meg's Mild
Iron fillings, they get stuck up on your paint and then start to rust on top of your paint what a B****
Meg's Aggressive to the rescue
This would have been done a lot faster with Iron-X or Iron-Cut but I didn't have any with me
Time for polishing(leveling paint), should only be done if you know what you are doing or can afford to make mistakes on your car / your dad's beater van.
Getting Taped UP
I don't know if you can see the swirls in this picture but I can, it's very hard to capture swirls/marring on light colours
Getting Gauged(measuring clear coat thickness to see if it's alright to polish, I know the level's of my paint but I wanted to make sure your guys do this if your are going to even attempt to polish your car (M3's don't have much clear to play around with in the first place))
Believe it or not but this is actually a 50/50, I'm sorry I don't own a DSLR or even have the slightest interest in hardcore photography
The heat from my work lamps was making me horny and this happened
JST JK'ing it's M205 so I don't have to stop and put more on my pad
Pre-LSP shot
M105 Dust's like a B****
It's a good Idea to Re-wash the car when applying a super sealant(Coating)
LSP:
Know there's a new type of product coming into the detailing world called Super Sealants or Coating
1. Optimum Opti-Coat V2(Longest lasting but it's like putting a giant condom on your car it'll protect it great but feels rubbery and not smooth)
2. CQuartz (Bryan's a authorized agent for this coating) it has great longevity and feel
3. AQuartz, this a great story of betrayal but basically this coating is obsolete in Canada unless you can get your hands on the new Titanium formula only available at Detailers Domain
4. GTechniq C-Series coatings, Bryan can also apply this if you ask but it's not that great, more like a Synthetic wax
5. Wolfs Nano Body Wrap, coming to the states soon, so you can expect it to come to Canada with in a short period of time, exciting about this line because it has great reviews out of UK.
After's
I still have to get pics of the interior but trust me it's really clean and for some reason smell's nice
Remember the brown coffee stain in the before pictures, it's all gone now
2 Coats of Aquartz later
Now you've seen my License Plate, either forget you've seen it or just send me Love letters in the mail, no personal visits allowed
All products I used can be bought at NextMod/ Larry L. @ Wisdom Details, he's got great prices..Shot me a PM I'm sure I can make great recommendations..He doesn't carry Aquartz anymore so you can cross that off your list.
Apparently I can't add more then 40 pictures because there a limit, so no interiors in this post
