30A Bose Sound System Fuse? But I don't have a BOSE system!

Hi Everyone,

First time posting on these forums (yay!)...

I drive a 2006 Mazda 3 GS sedan and bought it used in Dec 2009.

Anyway, as I was playing with the fuse box in the engine compartment, I noticed something weird recently...

In the manual, fuse # 18 says it's for "AUDIO - 30A - Audio System (BOSE Sound System-equipped model).

Well, fuse #18 IS connected, but I do NOT have a BOSE system...

Is this fuse still supposed to be there? If not, can I remove it without messing something else up? Just wondering...

It would probably be a typo in the manual. As it doesn't specifically state it is strictly for the BOSE system. I would assume its for the AUDIO system but if you have BOSE that's what it covers.
You could always just remove it and see what doesn't work. I'd just leave it alone though. No point in touching something that works perfectly fine.
