i have one on the car, its an NRG one, I'll try to take a picture tomorrow
2006 GT Sedan - Sharkfin - NRG catch can - Spin On Conversion - 10" Pioneer Sub w/ Ported Box - Pioneer speakers and components - Ballistic sound deadening front and back doors - Fujita F5 CAI - L.E.D. tails & 3rd Brake light - Redline Tuning Hood Struts - TWM short shifter - Vibrant Stut Bar...for now
what is the purpose of having one? really dont know and curious.

"And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further. With your mind power, your determination, your instinct, and the experience as well, you can fly very high." - Ayrton Senna
"There is nothing noble in being superior to your fellow man: true nobility is being superior to your former self" -Ernest Hemingway
forgot to mention it's very simply. The tough part is finding a place to put the friggin thing, I took it to a shop nearby and they made one for me and done.
there's positive pressure built up inside the engine from the spinning parts and increased heat, yadda-yadda-yadda. All engines have a breather and PCV valve at the top of the cylinder head cover to relieve this pressure. The system recycles the oil back into the system to be burned in the cylinder head.
However, in a High-revving engine , the stock ventilation system cant handle the pressure so tuners install a catch can instead of recycling the oil back into the engine.
Plus it looks hella nice under the hood
My understanding on this is that catch cans are for direct injection turbo motors. Regular 3's intake valves get washed by the fuel/air mix(unlike direct inj.) so don't acumulate the same gunk on the valves. Don't waste your money.
They will still keep the intake track clean on a regular 3, the Speeds just get really bad with carbon.
