Whats funny is that if you look at the comments section, he claims to own manual cars even "dating back to ones without synchros!!". Makes his article more distracting. With how technology has molded the drivers today... Being "distracted" by tach and clutch are much better than being "distracted" by a cell phone and sms text. Because lets be fair, thats what someone would be doing if they felt that a tach was distracting.

Oh and just one more funny part...listening to revs is distracting . What happens to music....

But notice the contradiction? He said manual trannies have not changed in 100 years or something, yet he with his own comment afterwards states driving a non-synchro manual lol, again what a moron, we now have hydraulic clutches, syncronized gears and even some vehicles have a roll-back assist feature.
