just finished mine it saves a lot of time if u can find an extra pair of cheap headlights on craiglist
yeah i found a guy via google that can do the install for $100 if I take out the headlights myself or $200 if he has to do it. Basically the same price as McGuyver. I'll see what Ridgeway has to say when I go down.
so whats the verdict on where to get the angel eyes done and the price that it will cost?
u can check out this guy as well: http://www.torontocustomlights.com/index.php?page=cars
he said he can do it for $100 if you can remove the lights yourself and bring it to him. worth a shot if u know how to and want to save the money.
Hell, come to me and I'll take them out for $25 lol
He's breaking that down disproportionately.
Modifications? I've forgotten more than I remember. Click here for the list.
lol no its $200 just for the install...the actual CCFls are around $100 or less, the LEDs are usually $150. angels eyes are a pricey mod due to the labour cost of getting them installed (it takes 4 hours to do). its sucks but thats the reality. i think they look great tho and are worth the cost. ill post up pics once I get them installed (was supposed to get it done last weekend but couldnt make it)
also yes they do come in different colours from what i've seen...ive tried contacting mcguyver as he has the most experience doing it but he cannot be reached so I im going with ridgeway auto.
if its 200 for labour, I'd honestly just take a day off where you are free and do it yourself. Took me a total of just under 6 hours, and I work pretty slow.
I did it myself and sealed it with more silicone after. No leaks, condensation etc.
Bought my CCFL angel eyes off ebay for under $50..I think it was $42? I love the way they look...only issue I had was with the glue that i used. Asked my dad for the strongest glue we had and he gave me some epoxy stuff that he said was the sh*t. Turns out it was just that;sh*t. LOL.
Use extra 3M tape and you'd be good to go. I only have one angel eye falling off that I have been to lazy to fix.

i have the orion v2 in my 2010 mazda 3. they look great but i was a huge pain the ass. but i am happy with the with overall look. i highly suggest if u are not comfortable in doing it your self then pay the extra bucks to get someone to do. i live in winnipeg so i had to do them my self and i used the heat gun method. which is not as easy as the guides make it look. i have had them since aug 2011 and i had to reopen both my headlights since to fix condensation issues and one of the halo rights fell off because there is no clipping system to secure them to the headlight. u are pretty much stuck using a an adhesive/glue and one of my high beams ring has shifted already. its also very important lining the high beam rings up so they are not on an angle. also with the orion v2 lights u need to cut and splice the wires to the wiring harness and then u need to find a wire to tap for constant power. i had a friend reluctantly help me. defiantly a 2 person job
