07 speed3 for $12 000 ??

I know its not from the Toronto area, but really 12000$? Pick it up for 11 000$, even with the milage the potential is there! It sucks seeing the value drop so much on the speeds.

Aren't there different regulations about reporting accidents in Quebec? I just found it interesting that he says he has the records for the car before he bought it.. I'd be seriously suspicious that something has happened in the short time since then.. especially since it's Montreal, and was winter (slippery) when he bought it.

Just check it carefully and pay attn during a detailed test drive if you're serious. If you cant tell that it has been in an accident, even if it was, who cares? Just take your time and be VERY throughout in your investigation.

Ac, power windows, cruise control, heated mirrors, power locks, 6 cd changer, 7 speaker surround , steering wheel control for volume, 6 speed transmission, hitch with light. Brand new suspension and brakes, brand new Michelin x ice winter tires, brand new summer tires. I have the carfax reportof when I bought it in January, selling the car because I lost my job... Everything runs great.

If you check it out and it seems good, no smoking on cold startup, runs great, carfax looks good (not sure about Quebec reports for carfax).... it might well be a steal at 11 - 12k. Even at 117,000km... if this is a 2007 model, it could have been bought near the start of 2006. That's 5 years he's owned it... 23,400 km a year is not unreasonable.

IIRC Speed 3's didn't come to the market till the Fall of 2006 and True Red was the only colour available at first so this can't have been bought in 2006. More likely bought sometime in 2007, which make it closer to 30K a year which is just about average to above average for most people.

The Ottawa/Montreal dealer auction is typically lower than Toronto as well, so your trade in quotes in the area would be lower thus why the average asking prices are lower in the area vs. those here.

It sat for sale on this forum and AT, and Kijiji for nearly three months with all kinds of "if i had the money now" commentary but nobody jumped... sometimes just need to see things in the right place/time i suppose
